Only because it is currently bugged, you are supposed to be allowed to leave amicably after 30 days or renew your contract. this is the wrong way. doing it like this will give you -20 to the faction. instead press k and leave kingdom at the top right. the ends your merch contract without the negatives.
Emperor1997. Yes, Kingdoms should have a mercenary clan limit, vassal clan limit and Kingdom tiers. They have clans with tiers, but Kingdoms have no tiers. Kingdoms should get tiers.
PSA: Being a paid mercenary is the shit. My usual playstyle was to be independent just long enough to earn a lordship, and then play the vassal game before inevitably striking out on my own to form a kingdom. This time, however, I decided to become a mercenary, rather than jump straight for the first fief that was offered to me.
Going off and trying to join the enemy while you are still under contract is basically treason - lucky for you, the game doesn't seem to mind. Being a merc is simply a way for you to prove your worth to a faction you wish to join. Later, when you have earned reknown, they will come looking for you.
Donations. Hildegard Volunteer is a unit with a very low defense and a small capacity to cause damage, Hildegard Warrior has an average defense, but her offensive abilities could also be inferior to her Tier and Hildegard Veteran is a fast cavalry that is relatively good at charging. and deal damage from a distance with their throwing daggers
To become a mercenary for a faction, you need to keep asking lords for tasks. If they offer you to join as a leader of a mercenary-troop, you may sign in. The payment from mercenary contracts have been raised quite a bit to scale with the current upkeep of your army. In effect, your payment is no longer a set value, but based upon the current number of men you are supporting your benefactor
By the way, in Mount & Blade:Warband, the minute you captured a city/town as an independent, pretty much every factions marked you as kill on sight unless you have a ton of "Right to Rule" built up. If you had "Right to Rule" they would recognize you as a legitimate kingdom otherwise you were a bandit unless you became a vassal of someone.
Welcome to my brand new playthrough of Mount & Blade Bannerlord. This time I enter the world of Westeros in Realm of Thrones, a Game of Thrones overhaul mod.
